Default Pet Idea: Armors and charms for pets

Does anyone think it would be cool to equip your pet with armor to make them stronger or possabliy add abilitys or somthing cool like that, personally that would be sweet as ever.

Thumbs up Good idea!

It would be nice if something was done to make Pets a viable route in this game...or if you want to keep pets so weak, maybe make a true Beastmaster...someone who could charm and use 2-3 pets at a time to do his bidding . I don't see how it would hurt anything anymore than the one weak pet does. As it stands now, Pets are not even a viable option for high level PvP.

Nice ideas. I'll add another pet idea:

Please make pets transparent to movement by your own party. I can't tell you how often I've gotten caught on either my own or another teammate's pet. It's annoying, and costs me crucial time I need to naviagte to my target.

yeah, they can be a pain if you just nipped over to a cliff edge to peer over, and your pet is rubbing up against your legs, stopping you from moving...just thank the server gods that you dont tumble into the depths ^^

definately...what about colars of some kind...and pet charm necklaces, for the ranger 'animals shouldnt wear collars' type?

i used to play a game on Snes called Secret of Evermore, and it had a dog as your pet...he changed shape whenever you moved from one are to another...wolf look in caveman land....whippet style jackle in archeologist egypt land...pink poodle in medievil castle land and K9 style toaster dog in futureworld lol....

but, you could give your dog a collar....and it acted like armour. it was never visible, i mean, come one, it was a snes game but still, it was usefull....

same could apply here. wouldnt have to even be visible, could only be apllied while in towns, bought in towns ect....feathered stuff and macrame and knots and shells for the ranger stuff....like animal fetishes (no, not the sex kind, like the fetish ans in somehtng significant....like the fetish you needed to have to talk to animals in the OC of Neverwinter nights)
and plated colars, spiky colars...fluffy and fuzzy and gem covered colars if you need variety, but simple colars with different armour points ^^

*puts in an order for Mica a lepoard=print fuzzy collar from Anita*

I think rangers should be able to buy armours for their pets, wouldnt you like to see an armoured chicken (sry Moa bird) baring down on your enemy?

How about adding the ability to buy pack mules like in Dungeon Siege? No, stupid iea :P

(it made the mules into walking killling machines...they turend around and kicked everything in sight^^ they burned, too, and later on, after the flames died down, they smoked...was so funny watching them chase things..backwards ^^)
